Subscription Retention Audit
A structured review of renewal paths, trial conversion, and cohort survival for one subscription product.
Who it is for
Teams running a live subscription or membership product who suspect renewals, trial conversion, or cohort survival are weaker than the headline retention rate suggests — and want a human-led reading of the activity, not another reporting license.
Result
You leave with a written audit of subscription activity and user retention for one product: where people renew, pause, or leave; which cohorts look healthy; and which measurements deserve attention next.
Scope included
- Kickoff interview covering your billing events, trial rules, and current retention definitions
- Review of existing application analytics exports or warehouse extracts you already hold
- Cohort survival sketch for recent signup windows
- Annotated findings memo (Korean or English) with prioritized measurement questions
- One follow-up call to walk through the memo with your team
Out of scope
- Building or selling analytics software
- Ongoing dashboard operation or data engineering implementation
- Legal advice on consumer subscription regulations
- Paid media or creative testing
Provider and process
Lead reviewer from Software App Hub in Seoul, with optional remote sessions for distributed teams. Process: discovery call → data access checklist → working sessions → draft findings → final memo and walkthrough.
Timeline and location
Usually two to three weeks from kickoff, depending on how quickly event extracts arrive. Sessions are remote or on-site in the Seoul metro area by arrangement.
Preparation
Share your current retention definition, trial length, billing cadence, and any known anomalies (refunds spikes, plan migrations, regional pricing). Export access is preferred; screenshots of key reports are acceptable for a narrower review.
Pricing basis
Engagements start from ₩2,800,000. Complexity of event history, number of plans, and whether Korean- and English-language deliverables are both required may adjust the estimate. See Rates for guidance.
Next step
Request an audit and mention the product name, approximate monthly active subscribers, and the retention question you care about most.
